2008 Better Together

The theme for 2008 at RLCC is Better Together. We anticipate great things from God as we worship and serve together. We discovered the blessings of serving, giving, loving, worshipping, and reaching out together during the 40 Days of Community campaign earlier this year.

“The Hope” series reviewed the story of God’s promise for all people.  Summer of 2008 brought Real Life Unscripted as our pastors preached what God had laid on their hearts.  

Connecting With God’s Family message series begins Sept 7th through Oct 26th.  This message series and Small Group emphasis will explore one of our deepest human needs; to know and to be know, to love and to be loved, by our Creator and by a few close friends.  Even while much of our culture demands and even rewards individualism and independence, this need remains strong. 

Now is an important time in the life of our church as we connect as God’s family.  Plan now to hear all the messages of this series and join a small group as we explore toghether how connecting with God’s family not only meets this need in our lives, but also allows us to participate in God’s grand plan for us; to be part of a community.

“They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.  Everyone was filled with awe, and many wonders and miraculous signs were done by the apostles.  All the believers were together and had everything in common.  Selling their possessions and goods, they gave to anyone as he had need. Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved. Acts 2:42-47
