Dawn’s Bio

My name is Dawn Sowers.  In addition to being involved in support ministries at Real Life Community Church, I’m also a member of “All God’s Children”, one of RLCC’s praise and worship teams.  During the week, I am the Public Services Manager for the Fauquier County Public Library.  I graduated from Utica College of Syracuse University in 1987.  Later I attended the University of South Carolinas and graduated in 1995 with a Masters degree in Library Science. 

My husband, Jeff, lead pastor at RLCC, and I were married in 1986.  We are blessed with two beautiful and bright daughters.  I enjoy gardening, reading, singing, listening to music and am learning to enjoy riding on the back of Jeff’s Harley.

We connected to Real Life because it offered us the opportunity to be involved with a group of great people who are interested in making a difference in their community, who disregard our differences and focus on our similarities, and who love us just as we are.
