Jeff’s Bio

In addition to being teaching pastor at RLCC, I am General Operations Manager for M&M Auto Parts, my wife Dawn, is Public Services Director for the Fauquier County Public Library.  Dawn and I have been happily married since 1986 and we have two daughters, Kelsey and Rachel.  I graduated in 1985 from Shepherd College, Shepherdstown, WV. in 1999 graduated from Baptist Theological Seminary in Richmond Virginia and in 2002 completed the Young Leaders’ program through The Center for Creative Church Leadership Development.  I love to play the guitar and ride my Harley.  I help design the sermon series and coordinate with the drama team to ensure the drama selected fits the sermon topic.  I play the guitar for All God’s Children; occasionally preach on Sundays and lead a small group.  I help pull the trailer on Sunday mornings; lead the outreach team and the design team.  The decision to tie in with Real Life was based upon the fact that Real Life was begun as a community of diversity that is both open and reaching out to people of all nationalities, backgrounds, and places in our spiritual journey.  We seek to help people find and live out the very best of themselves– the self God created them to be.  its real life, real people with real issues, and we offer real hope in a real God who will meet us wherever we are, ”to bestow on [us] a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of gladness instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair.”  Isaiah 61:3 NIV
