Maureen’s Bio

Maureen’s Bio: Since 1982 I have worked in the capacity of business and office manager, mostly in the medical field.  In 1991 I accepted the position of Church Administrator for an Episcopal church in Woodbridge.  I resigned in 1995 when my family moved to Fredericksburg to enjoy a simpler life style.  This is when I was able to pursue my passion for antiquing, painting, and home décor retailing.  I briefly turned that into a store which was located in the Northern Neck.  My husband, Tim, and I now build and paint cottage-style furniture for local retailers.  We have been married 26 years and have two grown children, four grandchildren, and eight four-legged children, (currently three dogs and five cats).  My favorite pastime is “junking” then creating a new purpose for the treasures I find.  And yes, I do dumpster dive!  God really does give us all different gifts and talents!
