“All God’s Children” Worship Team
“All God’s Children,” whose name was conceived by our youngest member and drummer, was born from the Pastor’s original vision for an acoustic praise team to complement the excellent Voices of Real Life Praise Team. The call for those with a heart for this particular mode of worship went forth and remains open. Further information is available related to our Monday evening, 7 p.m. meetings, where we share friendship, prayer and practice. Contact Kathy Smith at c: 540-280-4977 or h: 540-854-6582, or Jeff Sowers at h: 540-786-3087 or c: 540-840-1074 for further information.
While we are not purely “acoustic” (some of us plug in), the goal of All God’s Children is UNITY–for the purpose of pointing people in the direction of the “Real-Life” One worthy of praise, Jesus Christ, and toward a deeper relationship with Him, after all, that’s what its all about.
All God’s Children presently consists of singers Stacey Harris, and Warren Smith, joined in song and backed by the instruments of Jeff Sowers (Lead Guitar), Dwight Harris (Saxophone), Jeff Snyder (Keyboard), Chris Gallo (Trumpet), Tim Clemons (Bass Guitar), Kathy Smith (Acoustic Guitar) and our very talented drummer, Nathan Cameron. We welcome other musicians and singers to join us.
We are developing a repertoire of varied music on an ongoing basis, to include music that is not constrained by ethnic, traditional, stylistic, or stereotypical boundaries. All God’s Children, formed in 2007, is currently leading worship at RLCC on the fourth Sunday of each month. We have also performed at a Children’s Miracle Network event and offer praise leadership at area homeless shelters, in joint events with other churches, and other venues. As we grow together in our personal, musical and spiritual relationships, we desire to “be available.”
